FSX is the name on Foresight Sports' simulator software licenses: FSX 2018, FSX 2020, FSX Play and FSX Pro. Foresight+ is Foresight's membership, with Silver and Gold tiers and course add-ons.
If you already own an FSX license, check your account before you pay for a separate Silver or Course Pass plan. You may already have them.
What Foresight announced
Foresight says eligible license holders receive Silver and Course Pass at no cost, already added to the qualifying account. You don't need an activation code or a credit card. The announcement was last updated October 17, 2026.
Who qualifies
Your account must hold a current, account-based license for one of these, per Foresight's eligibility FAQ:
- FSX 2018
- FSX 2020
- FSX Play
- FSX Pro
Foresight says your purchase date, which launch monitor you own, and how recently you've used the software don't affect eligibility.
Who isn't automatically included
According to the same FAQ, these don't qualify for automatic inclusion:
- Owning the hardware without a qualifying license
- A device subscription without a qualifying FSX license
- Dongled hardware keys
If you have an FSX key that was never activated, it has to be linked to your account with Foresight support's help first.
Bushnell Launch Pro and GC3S owners
Owning one of these doesn't rule you out. Foresight says eligibility follows the qualifying license on the account, regardless of monitor. A subscription unit by itself doesn't give you the benefit, but a qualifying FSX license on your account does.
What you get
Silver
Foresight lists these Silver features:
- Unlimited saved sessions
- Dispersion view
- Shot tagging and target zones
- Ladder and Target Practice drills
- Community challenges
- Access in Foresight Premier to courses you already owned, where a Premier version exists
Course Pass
Foresight describes Course Pass as 30-plus courses playable in Foresight Premier, on top of eligible courses already on your account. Course Pass Pro is a separate upgrade and isn't part of this.
You don't need Gold to use Course Pass. Foresight says Course Pass works with Silver.
What still needs Gold
Foresight's plan comparison lists these among the features Gold adds:
- Multiple profiles
- Swing video capture
- Audio narration
- Club comparison
- Course dispersion mapping
- Additional drills
- Eligibility for third-party integrations
Even with Gold, a third-party program may need its own subscription. Foresight says GSPro requires a separate subscription.
How to find it on your account
Sign in to the Foresight App or Foresight Premier with the email registered to your qualifying license. The benefits should already be there.
How long it lasts
Foresight says the benefits stay on the account while the eligible license remains there. There's no end date set and nothing to renew. It isn't a trial, and it doesn't convert to a paid plan.
Foresight also reserves the right to update plans, features and eligibility, so this could change later.
Buying a Foresight setup now?
If you already have a qualifying license, these included benefits change your ongoing software cost compared with paying for a membership.
If you're buying new, check whether the offer includes a qualifying FSX license or only a membership. If it's only a membership, the normal membership terms apply.
For how Foresight's software fits with other simulator programs, see Golf Simulator Software: Where It Runs, What You Can Keep, and How to Switch.
Before you buy: checklist
- Check which license is on your account. Buying used? Make sure the software was legitimately transferred to you. The device alone doesn't carry the benefit.
- Sign in with your license-registered email before you buy a separate Silver or Course Pass plan.
- Compare the actual course library with the courses you want. The included Course Pass is not the same as Course Pass Pro.
- Check whether the features you want need Gold or other software. Third-party integrations are listed under Gold, and GSPro needs its own subscription.
- Buying new? Confirm the offer includes a qualifying FSX license, not just a membership.
FAQ
Is this a free trial that turns into a paid plan?
No. Foresight says the included benefits aren't a trial and don't convert to a paid plan.
Do I need Gold to use Course Pass?
No. Foresight says Course Pass can be used with Silver.
Does a used launch monitor come with the benefit?
Only if a qualifying FSX license has been legitimately transferred to your account. Foresight says software doesn't transfer automatically with the device.
I have a Bushnell Launch Pro. Am I excluded?
Not automatically. Eligibility follows the qualifying FSX license on your account, whatever monitor you use. A subscription unit by itself doesn't qualify.
